My story

Meet Kit & Cubby – The Bashful Buddies with Big Hearts and Bigger Needs! Shy, sweet, and still finding their place in the world, Kit and Cubby are a gentle pair of kittens looking for a calm, strictly indoor-only home where they can bloom at their own pace. They’re nervous by nature, but with time, love, and patience, they’ll reward you with the quiet kind of companionship that makes all the effort worth it. These two might be a little unsure of the world, but they’re open to living with mature kids who can respect their boundaries and know how to handle shy cats with care. They’re also okay with cats and cat-savvy dogs after a very slow and thoughtful introduction.Important Note About Cubby:Cubby has a genetic medical condition that affects his breathing and will need to be closely monitored by a trusted vet. Surgery may be necessary in the future, so adopters must already have an established relationship with a veterinarian and be fully prepared—emotionally and financially—for the additional care and vet expenses that may come his way. Kit and Cubby’s dream home includes:Tons of toys for coaxing out their playful sideCat trees and scratching posts for confidence-boosting explorationWindow perches to safely take in the outside worldCave-like beds and cozy hideaways for stress-free loungingTreats, wet food, and plenty of patience—the way to their hearts! These two are going to need some extra time and effort, but for the right person with the experience, understanding, and vet support they need, Kit and Cubby could be the most rewarding pair of feline friends you’ve ever met. Are you ready to help these hidden gems shine?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kit - Bonded to Cubby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
