Benny, the calm and collected gentleman, balances out Pepper’s high-energy, sharp-witted personality. Together, they make a quirky, lovable pair who adore people and are full of personality and love to give.Benny is a mellow, polite guy who enjoys his space and is generally easygoing—unless a hyper, bouncy dog gets in his face. Pepper, on the other hand, is the bossy one of the pair and has no problem letting other animals know when they`re too close. She’s a smart, high-drive gal who thrives on mental stimulation like trick training or agility. While they love people, they`re not fans of other animals and should be the only pets in the home. Dog parks, apartment living, and shared housing aren’t ideal for them—too much chaos!They’ve lived with children before, but due to resource guarding (especially around food), we recommend a home with kids 8+ who understand how to respect boundaries and space. Feeding separately and managing food interactions is essential for this pair to avoid squabbles. Benny is currently on allergy medication (Apoquel), which requires regular vet visits and financial commitment from adopters.These two truly shine in a calm, structured environment where their needs—both shared and individual—are respected and supported.
