My story

Meet Bruno! Bruno is a sweet 9-year-old pup who was surrendered to the South LA Shelter by his previous owner for unknown reasons, but on May 29th, we welcomed this adorable little guy into the Frosted Faces family. Don’t let his size fool you—Bruno is a small dog with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! He’s friendly, easygoing, and what we like to call a “feel-good” dog—just being around him lifts your spirits. Bruno enjoys taking short, leisurely strolls around the grounds at FFF and hanging out in the gazebo, soaking up the cool breeze and enjoying some quiet one-on-one time with volunteers. Bruno went on a one-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home environment. His Fling Mom reports: "Bruno is such a sweet and loving dog. He just wants to be around you and get tummy rubs. Bruno avoided our cat, and both quickly came to comfortable truce. They would walk near each other without any problem. Bruno could jump up on the couch with ease but needed help with stairs. He enjoyed going for short walks to the end of our block and back. As he got comfortable in our home, he would occasionally get the zoomies!" Bruno is currently on a second Fling while he waits for a forever home. Might it be with you? His Fling Family shared this great update: "Bruno is going to make the perfect cuddle bug for someone! All he wants is to be near a person at all times, but he asks for pets so gently. Bruno has been coming out of his shell more, making noises, and getting zoomies around the house. He sleeps through the night perfectly in his crate."
