My story

Frannie is a sweet beagle/dachshund mix that weighs around 25 pounds. Whether you want a more playful dog or a cuddly couch potato, Frannie is right there with you. She is just happy to be nearby and enjoying your company. Frannie is a true hidden gem: this girl is dog-friendly, cat-friendly and loves to cuddle with people. She is house- and crate-trained, has perfect leash manners and has mastered basic obedience commands like sit, stay and come. Due to having some massive bladder stones along with severe dental disease, Frannie found herself on the shelter’s euthanasia list. We could not resist her gentle demeanor and pleading face, so we stepped in to save her and get her the medical treatment she desperately needed.
