My story

**Dusty and Maeve are currently in a foster home. They should be the only 2 pets in the home. If interested in meeting them please email Wendi.Calder@foothillsanimal.org.**Meet Maeve & Dusty – A Bonded Mother-Son DuoAbout Maeve: Maeve is a 2.5-year-old calico beauty (white, orange, and gray) with a sweet, cuddly nature. She loves to curl up on the couch for long naps, watch TV with her humans, and meow her wishes at treat time. Maeve is confident and affectionate – she’ll purr loudly when you pet her and isn’t shy about telling you when she wants attention. While she’s playful with people, Maeve can be a bit slow to warm up to other cats. Thankfully, she’s already found her best friend in her son, Dusty.About Dusty: Dusty is Maeve’s 1-year-old orange tabby son, a gentle medium-haired sweetheart. He’s a bit shy at first, but every day he gains more confidence, especially with Maeve by his side. Dusty loves interactive playtime (feather wands are his favorite) and will happily roll around on the floor when he’s comfortable. He adores being near people and can often be found snuggling close to Maeve or sitting quietly nearby, watching his favorite humans.Their Special Bond: Maeve and Dusty share a very sweet mother-son bond. Maeve is protective and caring toward Dusty – the two groom each other, nap together in a sunny spot, and Dusty often follows Maeve wherever she goes. When Maeve is around, Dusty feels brave enough to explore and play. This pair really thrives when they’re together, bringing double the love and joy. Highlights of Maeve & Dusty:• Sweet & Affectionate: Both cats love cuddles and gentle pets. Maeve will happily curl up in your lap, and Dusty melts into gentle head scratches once he’s comfortable with you.• Playful Duo: They enjoy chasing toys, pouncing on feather wands, and snuggling after playtime. Dusty especially likes crinkly balls, and Maeve will entertain you by batting toys around the room.• Gentle Dusty: Dusty is soft-spoken and kind-hearted. With Maeve close by, he’s gaining confidence and will reward a patient human with sweet kneads and gentle purrs.• Healthy & Ready: Both Maeve and Dusty are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and have been vet-checked. They are ready to join a loving forever home.Ideal Home: Maeve and Dusty would thrive in a calm, patient home that appreciates their special connection. A household without other pets is best, since Maeve p
