My story

Hi, I’m Chase—a two-year-old Lab mix with a sweet soul and an even sweeter face! With my gentle demeanor and laid-back charm, I’m the kind of pup who’s just as happy romping around with other dogs (yep, I’ve lived with puppy pals!) as I am curled up next to my favorite human on the couch. One look into these eyes, and you’ll know: I’m all about love, loyalty, and long snuggles. Whether you're looking for a solo sidekick or a new addition to your pack, I’m easygoing and adaptable. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, so if you’ve got a feline friend at home, I’ll be a respectful and mellow companion. I’d thrive in a home with or without other pets—as long as there’s love, I’m a happy guy. Just one note: I’m a curious explorer by nature, so a secure fence is a must to keep me safe and sound during backyard adventures. I’m also currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but don’t worry, it’s curable! Could I be the perfect, handsome addition to your family? CHASE IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, FaceTime, etc). Our adoption fee is $300 plus health certificate ($50) and transport (usually $200). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), spay/neuter, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
