My story

Learn more hereMara is a 4-year-old, 9-pound Chihuahua mix with a soft heart and gentle spirit. She’s a quiet, easygoing girl who loves a calm environment and kind company. Once she feels safe, she’ll accept gentle pets and even hop into your lap for some sweet one-on-one time. Mara is doing great in her foster home—she’s low-energy, well-mannered, and gets along nicely with other small dogs. She’s learning to trust new people and is making steady progress every day.
