My story

Learn more hereMeet Spinach, a 1-year-old, 55-pound Pit Bull Terrier with a gentle soul, and a joyful spark that makes every moment brighter. This sweet boy is full of cool charm and eager to connect with his people. Sweet & seeks affection: Spinach melts under affection, wagging and wiggling with delight the moment he’s petted. He’ll place a front paw on the bench just to get a little closer and say hi. Smart & treat motivated: He’s working on perfecting his “sit,” and is very attentive when treats are involved—he listens closely and responds with eagerness Engaging companion: Whether hopping on and off the picnic bench on cue or simply following you around with soft eyes, Spinach is happiest just being near his people. Occasional playful bounce: As he gets to know you, he may get a little bouncy during play, but he’s always engaging and respectful. Well-mannered around dogs: Spinach has shown excellent composure, calmly ignoring his barking kennel mate and focusing on his handler instead. Leash pro in the making: He walks beautifully on leash, responding to light pressure with only occasional mild pulling. Spinach is ready to grow into an affectionate, loyal companion with a family who will cherish his silly side and his gentle heart. He would thrive with a well-matched dog friend or could be your devoted one-and-only.
