My story

Meet Flapjack, the sweet senior with a heart of gold and ears that could probably pick up satellite radio. At 14 years young and about 15 pounds, this little Jack Russell mix has mastered the art of slow strolls, long naps, and soulful gazes that’ll make your heart melt like butter on—you guessed it—a flapjack. Don’t let his age fool you—he’s still got some pep in his step and plenty of love to give. He’s a quiet gentleman who just wants a cozy spot, a soft blanket, and a human to adore. Flapjack came to us after being rejected by the shelter that was supposed to help him, and we just couldn’t say no. Now he’s looking for a forever family to give him the retirement he deserves—think of it as a doggy golden years dream package: love, comfort, and lots of treats. He’s got a gentle disposition, does well with other respectful dogs, and is just happy to be near you, maybe supervising from his favorite bed like the wise old soul he is.
