My story

Meet Ralphie Paperclip! Ralphie was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after his 91-year-old mom's health declined. Sadly, she was no longer able to care for her beloved pet who she adopted 11 years earlier. Ralphie is 12 years old and weighs 13 lbs. Two days after he became a Frosted Face on May 29th, he was chosen for a two-week Frosted Fling. His Fling Mom reports: "Ralphie is a gentle, well-mannered dog looking for a calm and loving home. He shows affection by simply being near you — following you around the house and laying close by. He’s always quietly by your side and loves a good belly rub. Ralphie is fully potty trained and has great indoor manners. Ralphie also knows several commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “roll over,” and enjoys showing them off — especially if you have a treat he likes! Ralphie is a relaxed traveler and does great in the car. He enjoys slow walks where he can stop and sniff around — he’s very curious and observant. He sleeps through the night and spends most of the day napping peacefully. Ralphie is a very sweet boy!" Ralphie currently lives in a Foster home and is again earning praise for being such a well-behaved, cuddly companion who is a joy to have around. His Foster Family shares: "Ralphie is a super sweet, easy boy who will make an amazing friend to his new family. He learned very quickly to not chase my cats with a soft "no" and lots of praise. Now he walks right by them! Ralphie is enjoying lap time and going to Fiesta Island with our dog. He enjoys walking and being by the water. We had to carry him part of the way, but he had a great time!" Ralphie is still on the lookout for a forever home. Might that be with you?
