My story

Meet miss Nola!This big gorgeous lady is a true diamond in the rough – give her some time and TLC and she’ll become a great friend! She’s 13 years old and just wants a laid back, quiet home to retire in. Nola likes pets on her own terms, but still very much enjoys human companionship and cuddles once she warms up – she especially loves chin rubs!Nola came to us due to her original owner passing away, and her new owners needing to move and were unable to take her with.We are unsure on how she would do with dogs or other cats, but we would recommend slow introductions with other animals that are relaxed like she is. Nola would do best in a home with older children/teenagers since she is sometimes touch sensitive and will need owners who know how to read her body language.Nola is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, had a senior bloodwork panel run, and has a clean bill of health from our veterinary staff.If you have any questions about Nola, feel free to reach out at (920) 733 – 1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, make an appointment to meet her online, or stop by during our open hours to take a look around!
