Meet Snookie – A Resilient Beauty Looking for Peace, Love, and a Lap Snookie is a stunning 15-year-old medium-haired tuxedo cat with a heart full of love and a spirit that has overcome so much. After being heartbreakingly abandoned in her former home for weeks following her owner’s passing, Snookie was rescued in rough shape — weighing just 4.5 lbs and struggling with untreated hyperthyroidism. But with love, care, and the right treatment, she's now a healthy 9 lbs and thriving! This lovely lady is fully vaccinated, litter trained, and spayed. She needs daily brushing to keep her beautiful coat free of mats — a little ritual she actually enjoys once she trusts you. Snookie is timid, especially around dogs, and would do best in a calm, quiet home — ideally with a retired couple or a single older person who understands the value of slow introductions, gentle companionship, and warm laps. Once she feels safe, Snookie is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and will become your loyal shadow. She adores her wet food, appreciates a sunny spot to nap in, and just wants a peaceful life with someone who will never leave her behind again. Snookie’s been through more than any cat should, but she's ready to love and be loved in return. If you have a quiet home and a kind heart, Snookie could be your perfect companion.
