Animal ID: 759584. How this pet arrived: Luna was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on May 21, 2025. Why Luna is the one for you:Meet Luna! This sensitive girl's life turned upside-down when her previous owner passed. Now, she's looking for a home that understands her need for patience and gentle handling. She previously lived with another dog but experienced some stress-related conflict in the shelter environment, so a dog-to-dog meet on site is recommended. Luna can be sensitive around her head and ears, so slow, calm introductions to petting are key-no rough scritches right away, please! Due to this, any children in the home should be 6 or older and should meet Luna prior to adopting. Once she's comfortable she also has a playful streak, sometimes turning leashing time into a game of keep-away! With time, understanding, and a little patience, Luna has the potential to be a wonderful companion. At SDHS:Luna has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered.
