Raven tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He will likely need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to an adult-only home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.A volunteer writes: Raven was found in a carrier on the side of the road with another cat and brought to us by a good Samaritan. Since Raven can't really tell us much else about his life before, he's been helping us learn about who he is now. Raven was sitting in his bed when I came to visit and looked out at me with surprised bright eyes, kind of like how I imagine a baby lemur would - slightly startled but very curious! Raven slowly stretched one paw out of his bed to come closer to me and then just went for it by leaning his whole side into my hand before he could even walk the other paw out. Raven's been through a lot of big changes and is trying to sort them all out here at the shelter. He knows life is easier with friends by your side and so he's been doing his very best to make as many as he can. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.3 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks
