Meet Missy – A Gentle Soul Ready to BloomMissy is a 3-year-old Havanese who weighs 23 pounds and is as lovely as she is gentle. This shy girl has a soft spirit and a heart full of potential. While she may take a little time to warm up, once she does, her sweet and affectionate nature begins to shine through.Missy has been making steady progress in her foster environment and continues to grow more confident every day. She appreciates a calm, patient approach and would thrive in a quiet home with people who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. Once she trusts you, she enjoys soft pets and will quietly seek out your companionship.With her soulful eyes and gentle demeanor, Missy is the kind of dog whose bond becomes truly special. She gets along well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion to help guide her as she blossoms.**********Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
