My story

PETUNIA (watch my short video!) Female 3 years old Pit Bull Terrier 49 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Good with kids she meets on walks, we haven't introduced her to dogs or cats yet (stay tuned!) Sweet Petunia’s past isn’t fully known, but her body condition at the shelter gives us a hint that her life hasn't been the best so far. This sweet girl ended up in the shelter where she didn’t stand a chance. Skinny, sick and scared it was obvious that she needed some help. Lovepaws was able to break her out and give her the second chance she deserved. If you love wet kisses and snuggles, then Petunia is your girl! She just wants to be by your side no matter what the activity. She will shower you with love and jump in your lap like she’s a 10 lb chihuahua! She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a big smile (yes, I promise she smiles!). She seems to LOVE kids of all ages as she lights up whenever she sees a kid that wants to say "hi." She has a gentle soul and that makes sense because it is clear she was once a mommy herself. She’s crate trained, house trained and she barely makes a peep. Petunia has so much love to give and just wants a family to call her own. Petunia is happiest when she is with you. Her idea of a good time is wherever her people are. She loves to go on her walkies and then sit on a bench and watch everyone walk by (while getting back scratches of course!). Even better if people stop and say "hi" because she loves meeting new people, especially when she thinks she might get to sneak in some kisses. Her dream day would have to include some tennis balls because she loves playing fetch even though she’s not the best at bringing it back. But mostly her dream day would be a day where she could spend the whole day at your feet or in your lap and lounging around the house with you.   Interested in adopting? Of course you are!
