My story

Meet Skye — a beautiful, bright-eyed Aussie Spaniel mix who’s just under a year old and desperately in need of stability. At only 9 months old, Skye has already been adopted and returned *three times*—not because of anything she’s done wrong, but because her people underestimated what it takes to care for a high-energy working breed. Skye is not a couch potato. She’s an intelligent, active, and sensitive girl who needs structure, patience, and purpose. She’s been bounced from home to home, and it’s taken a toll. What she needs now is someone who truly understands her breed, her needs, and her heart. Here’s what Skye is looking for: ✔️ A home that won’t give up on her ✔️ A person who understands high-energy dogs (Aussie folks, we’re looking at you) ✔️ Time, consistency, and outlets for both her brain and body ✔️ Bonus: A dog friend and a secure yard would be a dream Skye is currently in boarding, which is no place for a young, smart dog who craves connection and routine. She needs a foster or adopter—someone willing to meet her where she’s at and give her a true chance.
