My story

Ah, Bossa Nova…the name alone oozes smooth rhythm and charm, much like this distinguished gentleman here. With his dapper black-and-white coat and soft-as-clouds fur, he is the perfect blend of elegance and pure cuddle magic. At a mere 8 lbs, this sweet 10-year-old Chihuahua knows how to make hearts swoon. Bossa Nova is a sophisticated snuggler, the kind of dog who’ll gaze at you adoringly while you sip your morning coffee, convincing you that today is the day you quit your job and devote your life to belly rubs and treat distribution. He’s easygoing, enjoys moderate walks, and gets along famously with his fellow canine companions. His dream home is one where belly rubs are endless, lap space is always available, and love flows freely—oh, and did someone mention snacks? Here's some notes from his foster: Bossa Nova is a really lovely companion. He's independent and doesn't beg for attention, but he graciously welcomes pets from all humans he met. (We didn't have an opportunity to introduce him to any children, though.) Bossa Nova is also adventurous and very capable, despite his small stature and slightly frail body. He is energetic on walks, handles stairs fairly well, and confidently explores new areas with purpose. He's highly food motivated which suggests promising potential for a human companion who's interested in teaching new tricks! Mostly, though, Bossa Nova loves to cozy up and take naps in the sun or under blankets. He would make a wonderful partner for someone who is looking for a gentle, easy-going companion to have around the house. With his big bat ears, he's cute as a button and is a consistent source of friendliness. He has perfect bathroom behavior and would get up and stand near the door when he needed to go out. I would highly recommend Bossa Nova as a furry companion!
