Though Fernanda is visually impaired, her inner rhythm never falters-she navigates the world by heart, always keeping step with the music in her soul. Adopt Fernanda and prepare for a performance of love every day! Here's some notes from her foster: Fernanda is so special. She loves the cuddles and she loves being a part of our day. I take her to work with me every day, and she jumps and bounds when we get to the office. Behind the desk, she snoozes, and enjoys the energy around her. By the night time, she is zonked out. She is potty trained, and intentionally uses the bathroom outside. We take her out frequently, but in a pinch, she has been left alone for 4-6hr without an accident in the house. Fernanda is truly an elegant lady. The fluff of her fur makes her sit royally on all furniture, and she stretches out on the carpet for a dignified rub-fest. The moment you sit beside her she stretches out and rolls over so you can give her belly all the scratches. She is blind-ish. She has large cataracts, but she can see people approaching, and when she is hyper and excited, she jumps and bounces around furniture with an agility that will surprise you. The only time she ran into a wall or struggled with stairs was at night and darkness. She walks and does stairs really well, and once she loses some weight, she will be even better. When she has a bath she will do her fun zoomies. She loves having a bath. She loves car rides, off leash at the dog park and the beach. She especially loves the beach. She always goes towards the sound of children laughing or talking and she likes being petted by them. She is great with kids, and in the evenings, loves to jump around and celebrate another successful day. Fernanda loves to join in on the fun. She will sit outside with us as we read on the steps of our apartment, and continues to do well with car rides. Belly rubs are still her favorite, and she likes to wrestle. Frequent walks around the neighborhood help her get the energy out, and she snoozes hard afterwards. Overall she is such a chill girl. We love her gentle soul!
