Copi

My story

On 7/3/25 Copi met an older female dog. He was friendly, social, and playful. During their interaction the other dog overcorrected him, which he took well. He attempted to engage with the other dog again and she overcorrected. After that, Copi pretty much coexisted with her being in the yard. He kept running around the yard smelling, being curious and he also watched our pig (that is in the barn) for a couple minutes. Possibly would do good in a home with a pet close to his age, someone he would get to play with. 🌟 Meet Copi! 🌟 Copi is a cool, confident 1-year-old with a curious spirit and a calm, sweet nature 🐾💙. Weighing in at just 31 pounds, he’s the perfect compact companion for strolls, adventures, and laid-back afternoons. He’s super easy to leash up and loves to explore the world around him—nose to the ground, tail wagging 🌿👃. Copi is a treat lover 🍖, knows how to sit like a gentleman 🧠, and has a bit of an independent streak that makes him all the more charming. He enjoys human company but doesn’t mind doing his own thing too—he’s the best of both worlds! If you're looking for a smart, easygoing buddy with a heart of gold and a nose for adventure, Copi is your guy! 🐶✨ On 6/4/25, Copi was taken outside. He was easy to leash and cooperative when exiting the kennel. Once outside, he wagged his tail while sniffing the yard, approached me for kisses, and stayed close by my side. On 5/29/25, a staff member took Copi out. He stood quietly at the front of his kennel and was easy to leash, though he appeared shy. Copi gave low tail wags and displayed loose, relaxed body language. He walked well on leash.
