Weighing in at 15.5 pounds, Tikaani is a petite pup with a gentle, shy nature and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared.Tikaani is still learning to trust and take in all the new experiences around him, but underneath his timid exterior is a sweet, sensitive boy who’s eager to connect. He’s making progress every day and starting to come out of his shell in the company of kind people and calm surroundings.He gets along with other dogs and may do well with a canine companion who can help him build confidence. With patience, understanding, and a quiet home, Tikaani will blossom into a loyal and loving friend.If you’re looking for a calm and sweet companion to share quiet moments and offer a second chance at a happy life, Tikaani may be the perfect match.*******Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
