My story

How this pet arrived:Millie was brought in by her previous owner Why Millie might be the one for you: Millie is waiting for a very special person who will help her relax and enjoy life. She wants a dog savvy human who understands that some dogs take longer to settle down into their new life than other dogs. You see, Millie gets nervous about things easily. She gets nervous when left alone so will want to be by your side. We call it separation anxiety and we can help you with tips and resources for helping Millie get over it. She is shy and fearful but with some baby talk, assurance and treats, she relaxes and is happy. She wants to be a gentle, friendly dog. She does not want to be afraid of the big wide world. Will you take the time and do you have the patience and skills to help Millie relax? She is not aggressive, she is just shy and fearful. A warm and quiet home with lots of space will be better for Millie. She has been good with older children and other dogs. Are you up for taking a shy, fearful dog who wants to be a quiet, gentle dog? Do you have the heart and love for it because Millie does. She has already been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. If you'd like to learn more about Millie come visit us at the San Diego Campus today! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Black Weight: 40 Age: 6yrs 8mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Millie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
