My story

    Meet Sady Mae   Sady Mae is a playful, active, extremely cute, long haired chihuahua mix. She is 2 years old and weighs in at a whopping 5.5 pounds.   This little gal LOVES other dogs! In fact, she loves other dogs more than people! She can be shy at first, when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. Sady very much enjoys playing with her toys (drags them around with her) and interacting with other furry buddies. She would benefit greatly from having another buddy in the home to “show her the ropes”. For example, she is not a fan of leash walking, but does much better with a furry companion.   Sady is currently working on her potty training skills and is starting to get the hang of it. She was pee pad trained in her previous life, so she is very good about using them.   Like any Chihuahua, Sady tends to bark a lot when meeting new people and has a tendency to startle easily. But no worries, she gets over her fear of new people pretty quickly. Since she is such a tiny girl, older/considerate children are recommended.   If you think Sady would be a great fit for your home, just contact AAU and they will get back to you ASAP.
