My story

    Meet Rusty Boone - a beautiful, 8 year old, Cocker Spaniel mix. Rusty weighs 26 pounds and is the perfect size for any family. In addition, in case you didn’t know, Cocker Spaniels are playful, social, and generally get along well with children, other dogs, and even cats. Again, sounds like a perfect fit for a young family.   This lovely boy has great house manners - is house and crate trained already, but does need some work on his leash skills. Luckily, Rusty responds well to “treat training”, so just a little time and effort should solve this problem. He does protest when his foster family leave the house, but does quiet down quickly. Rusty also enjoys exploring the yard and follows the scents of “critters” on occasion.   Overall, Rusty is healthy and is looking forward to finding a family that can provide a good bit of time.
