You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Skye is a 1-2 year old Jack Russell Terrier/miniature Australian shepherd mix who came to us as an owner surrender. She was not getting along with the older female dog in the home and it was causing a lot of stress in the home. Skye has been fully vetted and her adoption fee is $150. Skye is a little bit on the shy side right now, which is understandable. She's a very sweet gal who is well mannered. She did live with kids in her previous home and did really well with them. She needs a home that is able to give her the exercise that she requires as she is a younger dog and is a mix of two active, intelligent breeds. She could potentially do okay with a well mannered male dog. She has had no experience with cats at all. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
