My story

Meet Wendy! Adoption Fee: $199 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Jack and Wendy are the most adorable wobbly cats you will ever meet. They were born with a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which causes them to have jerky movements and balance issues. However, they don’t let this adorable disability keep them down - they are just as capable as any other cat! Jack (or Captain Jack Sparrow since he walks with a drunken gait) is the more mischievous and outgoing of the pair - he is always the first to explore and greet new people. He absolutely loves mealtime and will try to sneak and get some of his sister’s food when she’s not looking. A new fluffy bed or rug is his absolute favorite thing, and he will leap onto it and claim it excitedly. He is a vocal boy and will definitely talk to you when he wants some attention. Wendy is a little more introverted until she gets to know you, then she is the most playful girl. She loves new toys, especially ones make interesting noises. She craves affection and will walk around making a little “chirp” to get your attention, then will purr happily while she gets her belly rubs. Wendy is definitely the daintier of the pair and has a perfect heart shape on her tiny nose, which suits her perfectly. Because Jack and Wendy were surrendered to the local shelter as adults, we are not sure of their age but believe they are between 1-2 years old. They have gotten along well with two other foster kittens that we introduced to them, but they are still very scared of our dogs, so we believe they would do better in a home without dogs. Since they do have balance issues, having some carpeted areas or rugs would be ideal; however, they do just fine on sections of our tile flooring. They will need a home where they will not be able to access stairs, since they would run the risk of falling on them. Jack and Wendy also do better with raised feeders to assist them with eating and can be slightly messy, but we have a great system that works perfectly for them. Please consider opening your home to Jack and Wendy as your new furry family members. They are so adorable and have so much love to give!
