My story

Meet Patches, a total sweetheart. Born in June 2024, this little torbie is looking for her forever home. She will be very shy at first, and so she needs a quiet and patient family, but that makes it all the more rewarding as she gets comfortable and gains confidence. Soon she’ll be asking for pets and belly rubs and you’ll be able to see how playful and sweet she is. She likes lounging in her cat tower and playing with feather toys and watching birds and checking up on what you’re up to. To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
