Meet Gracie – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Peaceful Home I’m Gracie, a beautiful 2-year-old sable Shepherd weighing 57 pounds. I came from a home with many dogs, so I can be a little shy at first—but with patience and kindness, I truly begin to bloom. Since arriving at the rescue, I’ve started to learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. I’ve discovered how much I enjoy quiet leash walks, gentle voices, and the simple joy of a good treat. I especially love going to open spaces like the dog park, where I can chase a ball and get the zoomies—my rescuers say it’s one of their favorite things to see! I do best around calmer dogs, as high energy can be a bit much for me. A mellow canine friend might be a nice match, but I’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only. What I’m really looking for is a peaceful, patient home—one that will give me the space and time to settle in at my own pace. I’m not made for chaos or noise. I’m made for love, calm routines, and a kind heart that understands that trust takes time.
