My story

Lani is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption application to learn more about her and schedule an intro. Lani is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Lani: Housebroken: Working on it! She has done best in a quiet neighborhood, as she can be nervous outside in busier areas and then has difficulty going potty Crate trained: Yes! Leash walking: She is not yet comfortable on walks in busier city areas, and would prefer a quieter neighborhood. She would also benefit from working on her confidence with positive reinforcement training. Dog social: Yes! She has done well in living with other dogs while in foster and seems to gain confidence from having a dog friend. Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown, but she can become nervous when strangers try to pet her, so may do best with respectful older kids. Lani likes: - Napping on your lap or in a blanket burrito - Having access to a peaceful outdoor area - Offering moral support while you sit through Zoom meetings Lani may be tiny but she has SO much love to give, and always wants to be near her person. Lani is the little sister who wants to be treated like one of the big kids. She is the fierce and loving protector of her home and people but also wants to be cuddled like the baby. She could spend all day curled in her person's lap. She loves to burrow under blankets, or find her favorite chair to snuggle up on. Lani is heartworm positive and on activity restriction. She is undergoing treatment at Ellis Clinic at no charge to their adopter. Heartworm is a treatable disease that most dogs make a full recovery from. You can learn more about heartworm treatment on our resource page -https://www.onetail.org/heartworm/ Lani's adoption fee is $300, and she is ready to give her love to her person! Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org ***

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lani, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
