My story

Hi, I'm Leo - A Gentle Explorer Looking for My Forever Home!I was surrendered because, well... I've been known to slip away on little adventures. What can I say? I've got a curious spirit and a love for exploring! Initially, I was pretty scared of the shelter - all the noise, commotion, and new people - it was overwhelming! But the longer I have been here, the more I have realized that people aren't all that bad! I may still be a bit shy at first, but I have made great strides in my confidence! One thing I do know for sure: I love other dogs! They help me feel more confident, and I'd be really happy to have a doggy friend in my new home. I'd also be okay with respectful kids who understand that I need time and space to feel comfortable. If you're the kind of person who can go slow, offer a safe place, and cheer me on as I learn to trust and thrive, I think we could be something really special! Ask to meet me at the shelter today!
