My story

Hi! I'm Gizmo! I'm an approximately 6 week old (as of 05/23/2025), male, Domestic Short Haired, black kitten! I was surrendered to the shelter after being found alone in a ditch. I am currently available for pre-adoption and will be able to go home on 05/30/2025. I will be required to return to the shelter for my neuter on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. This is a non-negotiable and required as part of my adoption contract, so plan accordingly. My adoption fee is $75 and that includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st FVRCP, and 1st dewormer. Meet and greets are by approved application only. Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch with next steps.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
