My story

Hi! My name is Jack. I am a handsome 1 year old neutered male, short haired cat who was recently surrendered due to my family no longer being able to care for me. I am fully litterbox trained and get along with other cats. Sadly, I am declawed on all four paws. Therefore, I am and will always need to be a strictly indoor only cat as I have no way to defend myself from predators in the great outdoors. I have also been an indoor cat my whole life and am not accustomed to the outdoors in any way. I am hoping to find a family that will not only let me be a spoiled indoor lap cat but one that will love me fur-ever. I am neutered but am scheduled on Wednesday, May 21st for my rabies vaccine booster, FIV/FELV test and microchip. Those services are included in my adoption fee of $50. Once submitted, RAC staff will be in touch with next steps in the adoption process.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
