Meet North &#194&#151 A Big-Hearted Girl Ready to Find Her True North Hi, I'm North &#194&#151 an 18-month-old Pit mix with soft eyes, a gentle soul, and 67 pounds of pure love. Life took an unexpected turn when my previous family could no longer care for me, but I haven't lost hope. I know the right home is out there, one where I'll be cherished and finally get the love and stability every dog deserves. I'm leash trained, crate trained, and have done well with my littermate, but if you have another pup at home, a meet and greet is recommended just to make sure we're a good fit. Because of my size and strength, I'd thrive best in a home with older children who are familiar with big dogs and can help me feel secure. Despite everything, I'm still sweet, eager to please, and ready to love with my whole heart. I'm spayed, microchipped, up to date on all my vaccines, and heartworm negative. I have been searching for my furr ever home for 90 days as of 07/16/2025 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
