My story

All About Me Name: Memory Age: 3 years (Born January 2022) Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo Samoyed Mix Color: White Weight: 21 kg / 46 lbs   My name is Memory and my name carries the memory of a second chance. I was rescued in 2024 from a dog meat slaughterhouse, just moments away from a tragic end. But someone believed I deserved more. And now, I’m here: safe, soft, and searching for a home that will love me for the kind and loyal soul that I am. With my fluffy white coat and gentle eyes, I’m a striking boy who gets noticed. But it’s my heart warm, social, and eager to connect that makes me unforgettable.   My Personality I’m what you'd call a social butterfly. Whether it's a stranger on the street or someone I've known for five minutes, I’ll gladly trot up, wagging my tail, ready for affection. I love being touched, held, and talked to. I’ll even let you scoop me up and carry me if you need to especially helpful when I get nervous about hopping into cars. When I bond with someone, I’ll trust them completely. I roll over for belly rubs, sit calmly in a kennel, and follow people closely, especially during walks (even if I sometimes pull a bit in my excitement!).   Social Skills - With People: Friendly, affectionate, and trusting. I get along with just about everyone, including strangers. I haven’t met young kids, but I’ve shown no signs of fear or aggression around people. - With Other Dogs: I’m excellent with dogs! I’m especially gentle with smaller dogs and tend to be more relaxed around females. Even if another dog gets pushy or challenges me, I’ll calmly walk away. I do get excited around toys and treats though, so I might need a little space when sharing. - With Cats: I haven’t been tested with cats, but based on my temperament, I’d likely be okay with careful introductions.   Energy and Activities I’ve got a moderate-to-high energy level perfect for someone who enjoys daily adventures. I love the outdoors and get so excited during walks that I sometimes tug on the leash or try to lead the way. But I’m very trainable and respond well to gentle guidance. After a good walk or play session, I calm down quickly and enjoy just relaxing with my people. I would thrive with an active adopter or family that enjoys hiking, long walks, or playing outside. I need a little structure and consistency to feel secure, but once I settle, I’m a joy to be around.   Life at Home I’m not possessive with humans, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating nothing aggressive, just a polite “back off.” I prefer having my own speed and bubble when I am having my meals. I prefer going potty outside and may not go indoors at all. A home with outdoor access is ideal. I don’t mind being in a kennel. I bark or whine to let you know if I’m hungry or need something. I get nervous getting into cars, so I’ll need help or encouragement when traveling. In new places, I may mark or take some time to adjust. I just need a little patience while I learn that I’m finally safe.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a loving home that understands where I came from and is ready to help me blossom further. The perfect match would be:   - An active individual or family who can match my energy - Someone patient and kind, especially during transitions or car rides - A household that enjoys affection because I have a lot to give - Ideally with a secure yard or frequent outdoor access - A dog-friendly environment with thoughtful introductions if there are other dogs   I may have started life in fear, but my spirit stayed strong and now I’m just a big-hearted boy who wants to love and be loved. My name is Memory, but I’m ready to make new ones with you.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Memory’s Playlist ##2409813##
