My story

Hi, I’m Mavi—but my foster mom calls me Rue! I’m a 6-month-old puppy who started out in Houston, Texas, where I was almost put down over a simple UTI. Yep, really. But someone stepped in, and now I’m in Denver—safe, healthy, and ready to find my forever home! Everyone who meets me says I’m literally the perfect puppy. I’m calm, cuddly, super sweet, and catching on quickly to potty training. I love to nap near my people, get belly rubs, and just chill out. I’m not wild or hyper like most puppies—I’d rather be your little shadow. I love kids, get along great with other dogs, and I’m always up for playtime when the mood strikes. They think I’m a Boxer/Lab mix, but my foster mom swears there’s a little Beagle in me—especially when my floppy ears go flying and I tumble off the couch. That’s actually how I got my nickname “Rue,” like a little kangaroo! I’m goofy, gentle, and just want a cozy place to call home.
