My story

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! HI FURiends! My name is Dixie and I’m on the search for my forever family! I’m a 1-year-old German Shepherd girl with a BIG heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! I’m playful, sweet, loyal, super smart, and totally trained—I know all my commands (yup, I’m a star student!). I’m also crate trained, house trained, potty trained, and leash trained… although I do get a little excited when I see other pups on walks—can you blame me?! I was sadly surrendered by my previous family, so sometimes I get a little nervous about being left behind again. But I KNOW the perfect forever family is out there… one who will love me forever, take me on walks and runs, and let me bounce around a big fenced backyard to my heart's content! My dream home? An active family with a fenced yard, maybe some kiddos over 10 and even a dog sibling to play with! I’m the kind of pup who will shower you in kisses, give you all the cuddles, and be your best friend through thick and thin. A word from my foster: “She is honestly the sweetest girl and gives no trouble at all—she just wants someone to give her the love she deserves.” So what do you say? A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information.
