My story

Meet Kit! This fluffy tux wakes up ready to get going with the most important meal of the day: breakfast! He’s not picky when it comes to food, and offering him snacks, especially Churu, is an easy way to win his friendship. Although a lounger at heart, when a playful mood strikes him, Kit will be on the prowl, ready to chase down springs, dig through packing paper, and tackle his favorite kicker toy. He has some boundaries when it comes to being petted, but his big purrs and forehead bunts will let you know you’ve found the right spot. Kit’s chirpy meows make it clear when he’s ready to hop into bed or onto the couch, and he would love to spend the evening relaxing with you as he grooms his luxurious tail!  We rescued Kit in Crown Heights from a neighbor's yard. He was very scared at first and warmed up once he knew he was safe. He's 1.5 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, negative for FIV and FeLV, and free of parasites and fleas.  Kit loves other cats but can get intense around them -- so he'd need a confident, relaxed yet playful buddy. He'll also great as a solo cat. He liked the (relaxed and friendly) dogs he's been in foster with.
