Kara

My story

Karagae, now known as Kara, arrived at Soi Dog Foundation’s shelter in September 2022 after being involved in a suspected road traffic accident. Her physical examination revealed she had fractures in her right femur and left tibia. With intensive care and support from the hospital staff, Kara would recover from her injuries and is completely weight-bearing on all her limbs.  Today, Kara is a confident and friendly dog, who is happy to meet visitors and will follow and want to play. She gets along with the other dogs in the run, except for one who likes to bully her (jerk!). Kara walks and explores confidently everywhere including busy areas. She has no issue walking near people and shows interest in other dogs and will approach, but not aggressively. In the off lead, Kara explores calmly and confidently. She is playful, affectionate and will approach when called. Kara will be a loving companion for someone - is that someone you?! With her ridgeback-like coloring, GORGEOUS eyes and affinity for swimming/water play she is going to be a super fun good time girl!  Kara is available for our Foster to Adopt program to ensure the best match possible. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RnR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email. ##2394868##
