My story

Sassafras came to us as a stray, so her past is a bit of a mystery-but what we do know is that there's a wonderful cat behind her shy exterior.In her kennel, Sassafras can seem fearful and a bit defensive-it's a lot for a sensitive soul like her to take in. But give her a quiet room and a little time, and you'll see her true colors start to shine. She'll roll around, bat at her toys with enthusiasm, and even come by now and then for some gentle pets.Sassafras is a curious, independent girl who's still learning to trust. She would do best in a calm, patient home where she can come out of her shell at her own pace.
