My story

Let me introduce you to Tucker, an adorable neutered, mixed breed boy brought into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/22. He has an owner who chose to abandon him. He weighs 67 lbs and is 4 yrs old. He has the cutest appearance! The one ear up/one ear down, a curly Q tail and such an attractive coat. He looks as though he has been well cared for. He walks very nicely on a leash. He may be house trained as he did his business as soon as he got into the shelter yard. He is a well-behaved boy with an eager and happy look on his face. He was not interested in the treats.. He does not seem to know any commands. He was quite interested in the outside view, whether he was in the yard, looking over the ledge into the parking lot or looking out the windows of the meet and greet room. I couldn’t help but wonder if he was looking for his people to come back and pick him up. Tucker is an amiable fellow and was A-OK with me petting his soft coat and giving him loving attention. Tucker would make someone a very fine companion, and he is hoping for a home in which he will get lots of loving attention and an inside life with his people.
