My story

Meet Sampson! This big, lovable guy is around 3 years old and weighs about 81 pounds. He’s mostly a couch potato who’s happy to lounge around and keep you company, but don’t be fooled—when it’s time to play or get moving, Sampson can absolutely keep up. Sampson is low to medium energy, with a great balance of chill and active. One of Sampson’s favorite things in the world is his stuffed toys. He loves carrying them around and proudly showing them off to anyone who will look. He’s both crate trained and house trained, and he’s lived well with a cat in the past! Sampson prefers slow introductions to other dogs. He truly just loves his people and wants to be where the humans are. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a sweet personality and a love of stuffies, Sampson might be your guy.
