*Meet Tony – Your Gentle Giant in Need of Love!* Tony is an 11-month-old Labernese (Labrador x Bernese Mountain Dog) with a heart as big as his paws! This sweet, goofy boy is looking for a forever home that can give him the love, patience, and snuggles he craves. *About Tony:* * *Loyal and Loving:* Once Tony bonds with you, he’s your shadow. He’s happiest when he’s close to his people. He adores children and enjoys the company of other dogs – he's a true family pup. * *Polite on Leash:* No pulling here! Tony walks beautifully by your side. * *Big and Clingy:* At 11 months, he’s still growing into those giant paws and has no clue how big he is. Expect clumsy zoomies and lots of lap cuddles. * *Fearful but Brave:* Tony is wary of strangers and may bark at new people, but with time and gentle guidance, he opens up. Food Watch:* He’s a bit greedy, so watch those counters – he’s been known to “taste-test” when no one’s looking! Tony needs a loving home that will help build his confidence and make him feel safe. He’ll thrive with patient adopters who understand his needs and will shower him with affection. *If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly clumsy cuddle bug – Tony might just be your perfect match.* Tony is vaccinated, microchipped, has her flea, tick & heartworm prevention and sterilized. He will come with her medical booklet. Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months. We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things. *Voici Tony – Votre gentil géant en manque d'amour !* Tony est un Labernois (Labrador x Bouvier Bernois) de 11 mois au cœur aussi grand que ses pattes ! Ce gentil petit chien espiègle cherche un foyer pour la vie qui lui offrira l'amour, la patience et les câlins dont il a tant besoin. *À propos de Tony :* * *Fidèle et affectueux :* Une fois que Tony s'est lié d'amitié avec vous, il est votre ombre. Il est plus heureux lorsqu'il est proche de ses maîtres. Il adore les enfants et apprécie la compagnie des autres chiens – c'est un vrai chiot de famille. * *Poli en laisse :* On ne tire pas ici ! Tony marche magnifiquement à vos côtés. * *Grand et collant :* À 11 mois, il est encore en pleine croissance et n'a aucune idée de sa taille. Attendez-vous à des câlins maladroits et à de nombreux câlins sur les genoux. * *Craintif mais courageux* : Tony se méfie des inconnus et peut aboyer après les nouvelles personnes, mais avec le temps et un accompagnement attentionné, il finit par s'ouvrir. *Surveillance alimentaire* : Il est un peu gourmand, alors surveillez les comptoirs ; il est connu pour goûter à tout quand personne ne regarde ! Tony a besoin d'un foyer aimant qui l'aidera à prendre confiance et à se sentir en sécurité. Il s'épanouira auprès d'adoptants patients, qui comprennent ses besoins et le combleront d'affection. *Si vous cherchez un chien câlineux, fidèle, affectueux et un peu maladroit, Tony pourrait bien être le compagnon idéal. Tony est vaccinée, micropucée, traitée contre les puces, les tiques et les puces, stérilisée et viendra avec son carnet médical. Parfois, un chien/ne met un peu plus de temps à s'ouvrir à nous. Vous le/la verrez peut-être révéler sa personnalité de plus en plus au fil des premiers jours, semaines, voire mois. Nous ne connaissons pas tout ce qu'il/elle a traversé avant d'être secouru, mais il/elle est tellement indulgent/e et plein d'amour que chaque moment difficile en vaut la peine. Développer une relation de confiance avec votre chien/ne secouru est essentiel. La stabilité, la patience, le renforcement positif et l'amour sont les valeurs les plus importantes.
