My story

Dorito and Rey are two extra special cats being fostered with love in the Bronx near Westchester, New York! Dorito, the beautiful, handsome orange boy has turned into a real love bug who loves to snuggle, and has the loudest purr you’ll ever hear! Rey is a petite, gentle girl who loves to snuggle on your lap while you watch TV at night and play with all kinds of toys, especially her Lamb Chop toy, which she tosses in the air high up ! We thought Rey had such a beautiful and unique face that we decided to use the donated Wisdom Panel, cat DNA kit, gifted to us by the company on her! See the photo for the results - she is one special and unique girl! Both are lap cats who would prefer an adult home to get all the love and attention! They have been through so much before we rescued them living on the streets of the South Bronx, but they have never looked back and you would never know what they went through before. When Dorito was rescued he was filthy dirty , his beautiful white coat was nearly brown. When Rey was rescued, she dragged her body to her Rescuer begging for help. She was so weak she could not stand up. She had had a previous pelvic injury, either be being hurt by humans or by a car miraculously it healed beautifully and did not leave her any lasting effects . She became one of the most resilient kitties ever and we are still amazed at her ability to rebound both in body and spirit.  Both Dorito and Rey are fully vetted, spayed, and neutered up-to-date on vaccines treated for potential parasites and fleas , negative for FIV and FELV and microchipped. We think that they would be very happy to be adopted to a loving home together as they love to snuggle and play.  Email us at nycatcoal@yahoo.com or call Joan at  (718) 671-1695May 21, 2025, 10:03 pm
