My story

June is a female beige/lemon colored chihuahua mix. She is 4-5 years old and she weighs about 19 pounds. June is spayed and vaccinated including rabies. She is heartworm negative and on heartworm preventive. June is ready for adoption. June (along with her friend/brother Cash) were surrendered together because their owner can no longer care for them. June has been very well cared for since puppyhood and a full record of her vetting will be provided. She is a gentle-natured, easy going lady. June is dog, cat and people friendly. She is very cooperative and smart. June is reportedly easy to live with. She is potty trained, crate trained and walks on a leash. June would make a great companion for an older adult with or without other pets. She would also be able to adapt to a family setting. June can travel or be a home body. She’s a total sweetheart. June and Cash can be adopted together which will result in a $25 discount off of each adoption fee. Adoption fee for June is $275 (Cash’s is $150). Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
