My story

If anyone is looking for a loving companion, Shelby is the dog for you! Shelby was originally adopted from Puppies And More in 2018, and she is presently guesstimated to be around 8 or 9 years old. Unfortunately, Shelby’s owner passed away earlier this year and Shelby is now looking for a new family to love. Shelby is a very easy dog to care for. She weighs about 65 pounds, and she is completely house-trained, very calm, extremely affectionate, and great with children. She sleeps in her rate every night, though she is free to roam the house during the day because she is very responsible. She loves going on walks, but she also loves her fenced-in backyard. She’s not a barker, only barking if she’s at the door to go out and you hadn’t noticed yet. Sunning is another favorite activity. She’s not a “plush” toy girl, but she loves to chew on bones and antlers. Shelby is hesitant to get into a car and she needs encouragement to do so (or a running start). At bath time, she prefers water to be gently poured over her with a hose or bowl as opposed to a shower “spray” but she is fully cooperative. She is current and up-to-date on all of her shots. Shelby has a gentle temperament and will gladly roll over for belly rubs from anyone who visits.
