My story
Meet Nugget!Our sweet golden boy Nugget is about a year old and has made giant leaps since coming to the shelter. Once super shy and scared, Nugget is now outgoing and not afraid to tell you he wants attention! Thanks to the love and dedication of our staff and volunteers, he now gives us headbutts and is always approaching us for a good petting session. While Nugget can seem quiet and subdued at first, don't let this fool you! He has his bursts of playful energy and will chase just about any toy you toss for him. Nugget is currently staying in a free-roam room with his best friend, Lou Reed, and two other cats. You can find Nugget and Lou Reed lounging and grooming one another and having the occasional wrestling match when their playful mood strikes!
