My story

COURTESY POSTING FOR LADY LUCK ANIMAL RESCUE. BEAUTIFUL SENIOR DOG IN NEED OF A HOME. PERFECT FOR A SENIOR LOOKING FOR A LOYAL COMPANION . LOCATED IN PARKLAND, FLORIDA . Maya was callously dumped by her previous owners in a known dumping ground for dogs in Miami. Why anyone would do this, is unfathomable. German Shepherds by nature are loyal and very sensitive. Despite being failed in so many ways by humans, Maya loves everyone she meets. She is gentle with children and other dogs. She loves to take short walks, lounge in her bed and bask in the sun. (She is not a fan of cats). Maya is an easy keeper, but does have age related health issues. She has hip dysplasia, which was never treated and has subsequent arthritis in her hind quarters. She has been showing improvement in her agility as a result of taking joint supplements and anti inflammatory meds. This of course will require ongoing treatment. Her bloodwork thankfully is within normal range. This girl has plenty of life and love to give! If you are interested in providing Maya with a loving home for her Golden Years, please fill out our adoption application and save a deserving Senior. https://ladyluckanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/canine-adoption-agreement-and-application/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maya, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
