My story

Meet Maddie! This 6-year-old terrier mix may only be 10 pounds, but she has a whole lot of love to give. Maddie is sweet, friendly, and just a little shy when meeting new people but give her a moment and she’ll be melting into your arms in no time. She loves cuddles, gets the occasional case of the morning zoomies, and has the kind of smile that could brighten even the gloomiest Seattle day. Maddie is still learning the ropes when it comes to potty training, but she’s eager to please and does well on a leash. She can get nervous in new environments or loud settings, so she’ll need a patient home that can help her feel safe and secure. While she hasn't been tested with other dogs, she seems indifferent to cats and could do well with respectful children. Maddie recently had surgery to correct cherry eye, and although she’s recovering well, it’s something her future family may need to monitor. She’s prone to stress colitis and will benefit from a calm environment, regular routine, and a loving human by her side. In return, she promises snuggles, sweetness, and an unforgettable smile. If you're looking for a small companion with a big heart, Maddie just might be the one for you. Maddie is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maddie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
