Name: Toulouse         Best Guess for Breed:  German shepherd mix  Best Guess for Age:  2.5 years as of May 2025        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 58 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Toulouse is Looking For:  This girl is a pretty awesome pup. If you know German shepherds, you know they're smart, loyal (often known as Velcro dogs!) and energetic. Toulouse is ooking for humans who want a smart pup eager for training and tasks. Who will provide structure and intellectual and physical enrichment through world exploration and mental challenges. And most of all, who will show her she's loved and cherished. What My Foster Says About Me: Toulouse is a sweet girl who is very interested in other dogs and wants to play - she takes a little bit more time to warm up to humans, though! You can win her over with scratches and treats (she is food motivated!) She’s a Velcro dog and enjoys following her foster around as she learns the ropes. She’s making progress with house training and crate training! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
