My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:1Trousers – The Galloping Goofball with Expressive Ears and a Heart of Gold Meet Trousers, a 10-month-old, 61-pound Doberman/German Shepherd mix with all the bouncy charm of a puppy and the sweetness of a loyal best friend in training. Playful & spirited: Trousers loves a good gallop around the yard—especially if you’re up for a game of chase. He’ll dash toward you with joy, then zip past like he’s saying “catch me if you can!” Expressive ears alert! His big, animated ears are always tuned in—whether he’s trying to understand you or soaking in your attention. Affectionate at heart: After some zoomies, he settles beautifully—leaning gently in for face, chin, and neck rubs, maybe even a soft kiss when he gets to know you. Toy curious: He’ll pounce on a tossed ball, but it’s your engagement he truly treasures. Leash learning in progress: He may start off pulling in excitement, but with a bit of exercise and reminders, he can walk nicely right beside you. Dog social: Trousers attends doggie playgroup and enjoys time with other appropriately matched dogs. This fun-loving pup is ready to grow into his big paws with a family who can match his energy and nurture his tender side.
